Ulla Str\u00f6hmann verbindet die alte Wachsmaltechnik der Enkaustik mit der geometrischen Formensprache der Moderne. Die K\u00f6lner K\u00fcnstlerin erg\u00e4nzt die Tradition der Pigmente in Bienenwachs mit Silber- und Aluminiumbl\u00e4ttern. W\u00e4hrend die linearen Kompositionen Klarheit vermitteln, sind die Farbfl\u00e4chen und die Sinnlichkeit des Wachses von einer warmen Lebendigkeit gepr\u00e4gt.
