Lotte Thuenker's nonfigurative, perfectly crafted sculptures play an artistic game with forms and lines. She looks for the balance between stillness and movement, between lightness and weight. Her work in marble, alabaster, onyx and bronze show surprising new forms from different angles.
Her sculptures are created in Italy, in the international Sculptor Studio Studio Pescarella in Pietrasanta, which she co-founded. Lotte Thuenker studied architecture in Berlin and worked as an architect. Since the 90s she has been active as an artist. She has shown her sculptures in numerous exhibitions in Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
