Horst-Peter Jansens photographs are on the border of abstraction and recognition. In his work his early preoccupation with the analog black-and-white photography is still alive. This leads to his main theme of nuances in contrast and brightness and their graphical relationships. His photographs open a new perspective onto the world and are more than a visual experience.
Horst-Peter Jansen’s exhibition is a debut: after having worked in secret for 45 years, he is now showing his carefully edited photographic art to the public.
