Sybille Abel-Kremer

1954 Born in Wiesbaden
1973 Abitur in Duisburg
1973 – 1979 Studied Biology and Geography at the Albert-Ludwig-University in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany
1975/76 Guest semester in California, focus: fine arts; study trip through the USA, Mexico and Guatemala with special emphasis on Indian high cultures
since 1983 married, two children
1991 – 1996 study of fine arts at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz, diploma in the ceramics group of Prof. V. Ellwanger
since 1995 own workshop in Markkleeberg near Leipzig
since 2001 Member of the “Bund Bildender Künstler Leipzig”, member of the Leipzig art association “Terra Rossa”, numerous exhibitions and participations in exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands as well as regular participation in international pottery markets.
