Anne Bahrinipour

PAINTING

Anne Bahrinipour’s works move along the border to abstraction, with hints of landscapes or figures. The artist from Witten creates direct transmissions of her inner world with acrylic on canvas. Strongly guided by her intuition, she paints in series that are united by the choice of colours. Her paintings have a strong energetic force, combining calm, stable areas of the picture with dynamically rhythmic ones. Anne Bahrinipour is represented in collections at home and abroad.

Mark Harrington

PAINTING

The American painter Mark Harrington works with the theme of reduction and repetition of horizontal lines and structures, creating fascinating compositions of unlimited expanse. In his studio near Munich, he uses various tools to draw palpable traces in the layers of impasto, still wet acrylic paint. Mark Harrington has exhibited throughout Europe and in the USA since the 1980s, in galleries and museums. His works are represented in numerous collections.

Lon Pennock

SCULPTURE

Sculptor Lon Pennock shows a different direction of his art this time at FlowFineArt: collages. As with his sculptures, he combines simple geometric shapes and picks up on the blackness of his sculptures. It is clearly noticeable that he is inspired by Zen philosophy. The artist from The Hague has been active throughout Europe since 1969 at exhibitions and various art fairs, including ‘Art Frankfurt’. One of his main focuses is large-scale sculptures in public spaces.

Jan van der Laans

Sculpture

Jan van der Laan’s starting point for his sculptures is the search for pure form. His art is a synthesis of organic forms and geometric abstraction. Perfect in his craftsmanship, he proceeds with the greatest inner attentiveness, which is also the focus of his sculpture seminars and his work as a coach. He works with a variety of stones, such as alabaster, opal, travertine and serpentine. Jan van der Laan has been exhibiting in the Netherlands since 2004.

Horst-Peter Jansen

PHOTOGRAPHY

Horst-Peter Jansen is concerned with the intense effect of his photographs. He implements the intuitive image idea with means that precede and follow the moment of release: from the staging of the photographed objects, to double exposure, to targeted post-processing. His newly created worlds raise the question of recognisability and abstraction. After his debut exhibition at FlowFineArt in 2015, this time he is showing very recent works in black and white and colour.
